What is TPO roofing membranes?
TPO waterproof membranes, also known as thermoplastic polyolefin waterproof membranes, are made using advanced polymerization technology that combines ethylene-propylene rubber with polypropylene to form a thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) synthetic resin as the base material. On this basis, additives such as antioxidants, anti-aging agents, and plasticizers are added to create a new type of waterproof membrane.
TPO waterproof membranes can also incorporate polyester fabric mesh as an internal reinforcement material to produce reinforced waterproof membranes, which further enhance their waterproofing performance.
