Features of rubber bridge bearing:
Steel reinforced elastomeric PTFE sliding bearings for bridges is to paste a layer of PTFE plate with the same plane size on the top surface of the plate rubber bearing, and set a stainless steel plate on the bottom surface of the beam for relative sliding movement.
This makes use of the small coefficient of friction between PTFE and stainless steel in relative motion, making it a movable support. In addition to the advantages of the plate rubber bearing, it can also meet the requirements of large horizontal displacement.
Therefore, it is suitable for simply supported beams and continuous beams with large spans and bridges with continuous decks.
Bridge with large spans, continuous spans, simply supported beam, continuous plate structures or large displacements. Support structures requiring less vertical but more horizontal weight.
Classification
PTFE bearing pad can be divided into round PTFE bearing pad and rectangular PTFE bearing pad according to different shapes. They can be used in different bridge types. The rectangular PTFE bearing pad is widely used in the straight bridge or right bridge. The round PTFE bearing pad is widely used in the skew bridge, curved bridge and other bridges.
